Monthly In Person Sound Baths

Falkirk
Fridays 3rd February, 3rd March and 14th April

Reddingmuirhead Community Hall
Shieldhill Road
Reddingmuirhead
Falkirk FK2 0DT

In person sound journeys will be continuing this winter and spring. A chance to experience first hand the vibrations and full range of overtones of my beautiful sound healing instruments.

Please bring your own mats, pillows and blankets. The floor is quite hard. There are also chairs available for anyone unable to lie on the floor.

The sound journey will enable your body to be lulled into a deep meditative state with the sounds of Gongs, Tibetan and Crystal Singing Bowls, Koshi Chimes, Percussion, Shamanic Drum and Healing Voice. It will simply involve sitting or lying down (depending on your physical abilities and level of comfort) and receiving the sound and vibrations from various beautiful instruments. The sounds will be gentle and relaxing. They are designed to entrain your brain waves to the deeply relaxing theta state. This relaxes your body engaging the parasympathetic nervous system and enables its natural healing capacities to be activated.

Cost: £17.50
Please book directly online through Ticket Tailor.

Drumming and Chanting In-Person Circles

Falkirk
Fridays 10th February, 10th March and 21st April
Reddingmuirhead Community Hall
Shieldhill Road
Reddingmuirhead
Falkirk FK2 0DT

Drumming is fun, drumming is easy, drumming is good for you. What’s not to like?!

Anyone can drum. And anyone can chant. We all have an inbuilt sense of rhythm and we all have a voice.

These evenings are designed to help us relax, let go of daily stress and energise us all at the same time through some simple drumming. At the same time we will free up our expression by having fun with our voices learning simple chants and songs. No singing or drumming experience required.

We’ll be starting with connecting with our drum, doing some gentle rhythms to entrain our brain waves to a relaxed state then stating our intentions and putting them out to the world with our drums.

We’ll also be learning and singing some traditional chants. No singing ability required. You can just listen if you prefer.

I have drums for sale or to borrow. Bring your own drum if you have one and a shaker.

Suitable for beginners and experienced drummers alike. We will be respecting current covid guidelines and will be socially distanced in a well ventilated room. I will have the added precaution of using an anti-viral spray with hand sanitiser available.

Cost: £17.50

Please book direct through Ticket Tailor.

Sunday Sound Circles

Dates coming soon

Glasgow Unitarian Church
72 Berkeley Street
Glasgow G3 7DS

Sunday Sound Circles are a chance for you to combine some time for self care with learning new skills. I currently offer training courses with the Sound Healing Academy but realised that not everyone has the time for in-depth training preferring a taster of the main sound healing instruments.

So during these days we will learn some practical skills in the morning and in the afternoon we will have a sharing circle/ceremony followed by a relaxing sound bath.

For each meeting we will focus on a different instrument including Tibetan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, drums, gongs, tuning forks and even your own healing voice. We will also look at other instruments like koshi chimes, ocean drums, rainsticks, percussion instruments.

Each afternoon will have a different theme which may be related to the Celtic Wheel of the Year, the Full Moon or just time to share and reflect.

You can join us for just the morning, just the afternoon or for the whole day.

We will be in the same building that was formerly In The Moment which is owned by Glasgow Unitarian Church which is made up of people with different views, beliefs and values, celebrating Unity in Diversity – many beliefs, one faith.

In November we will have fun exploring some of the other sound healing instruments like koshi chimes, rainsticks, ocean drums, sansulas and steel tongue drums. In the afternoon we will take some time to reflect on where we are as we move towards the end of year celebrations. This will be a sharing circle.

Morning only: £30
Afternoon only: £30
Whole day: £60
